Y.J Dance Studio
The Y.J Dance Studio is a project I founded while pursuing my MFA at the University of Washington in 2022. Grounded in my research, this studio embodies my belief that integrating theory and practice can illuminate overlooked aspects at the intersection of gender, sexuality, LGBTQ+ representation, and Chinese dance. Y.J Dance Studio is a safe, inclusive space where community members are free to dance without the constraints of gender stereotypes or binary gender norms.
